Camelback Mountain Pheonix, Arizona

While visiting family in Pheonix we were able to do some hiking. My brother in law took us on a challenging hike that overlooked the city and had beautiful views. The temperature, views, and company were perfect. Upon reaching the bottom feeling tired, hungry, and thirsty. We passed a group of men hiking that each only had one leg. Some had prosthetic legs, while others merely had crutches. They were talking and laughing together and I was struck by their attitude. There were ready to take on this hike, outdoors, trying things doing things. Having a great time. They were not about to let what some may see as a disability be a disability to them. Amazing outlook on life. Thank you Pheonix for the views and the life lesson. A few of my favorite shots from the hike. Enjoy.
