Oquirrh Mountain Temple at Dusk

After a stressful week and an equally stressful day I found myself on the Oquirrh Mountain Temple grounds around dusk. Two brides walked the grounds with photographers having their pictures taken as the last rays of sun shone over the tops of the hills. They hustled from spot to spot trying to get the shots they wanted. The Temple itself was closed for some reason but families, couples, and individuals all walked the grounds or sat here and there on benches. Almost everyone took a photo or two at some point or another with their camera phones. I walked the grounds for over an hour enjoying the sound of the waterfall, the sites of the temple and grounds, and the peaceful feeling that permeates the grounds. Others must have felt it to as cars continued to pull up and people came to enjoy a beautiful summer evening. A few of my favorite pictures below....
